Welcome to the Lassen Café & Gift Shop, located inside the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center — the gateway to Lassen Volcanic National Park near the park’s south entrance. The name “Kohm Yah-mah-nee” comes from the Mountain Maidu language, meaning “snow mountain” — the original name for the volcano known today as Lassen Peak. Whether you’re fueling up before a hike or winding down after a day on the trails, our café and gift shop is your one-stop spot inside the park. Browse a curated selection of souvenirs and locally made arts and crafts, or grab a bite and a beverage to go. We’re open daily from late May through early October, so stop in, explore what we have to offer, and take a little piece of Lassen home with you.
