And now it’s more affordable than ever to give your family the Drakesbad Guest Ranch experience.  All meals are included and kids under six stay FREE and rates for children 7-14 are at a greatly reduced rate of $75 per day.

Drakesbad Guest Ranch is a secluded getaway lodge at the southeast end of Lassen Volcanic National Park, featuring 19 traditional lodge and bungalow units. Guests of Drakesbad spend their days hiking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, or just relaxing.

Deliciously fresh and nutritious home-cooked meals are prepared by the Kitchen Staff and are an integral part of the Drakesbad experience. All meals are open to the public and are by reservation only.

The scenic Warner Valley is a perfect backdrop for the traditional lodge rooms and cabins, and the award-winning service provided by the dedicated Ranch Staff is unmatched.

Rustic accommodations are surrounded by a variety of relaxing activities, including:

• Swimming Pool, naturally heated by the local hot springs
• Guided Horseback Rides
• Fishing
• Access to some of Lassen’s best hiking trails

SPECIAL NOTE: The swimming pool is undergoing maintenance and will not be available this season at Drakesbad Guest Ranch. 

For the safety of everyone, by order of the National Park Service, the Drakesbad Guest Ranch is closed until further notice due to wildfire activity in the area. All existing reservations have been cancelled, no new reservations will be honored until the NPS approves a safe reopening of the property. Additional information will be posted here as it becomes available.
